Apocalypse

So for both semesters this year I had print classes. The first was an etching class, and honestly, I wasn't very good at it. The process was long and tedious and I didn't spend enough time on it and in the end, the teacher was pissed at me as a result. So what did I do? Take another print class with the same teacher the following semester!? WHAT A GOOD IDEA!!!

Anyway, I don't think he was very happy to see me in his class again, but he was nice about it and I tried a lot harder. I started a week in advance on every project instead of the day before, and honestly, screen printing was a lot more to my tastes anyway. It still took an assload of tedious time, but the results were really nice.

This was my most popular project, and it had four smaller prints that accompanied it that you can see here: [link] There was no particular inspiration behind this piece, but during the critique the class commented that it had a very apocalyptic feel and almost a storytelling quality to it. So, that's good enough for me.
