Crendrelby ~Rikkoshaye

Woohoo! So this unique character belongs to the awesome Crendrel, and is a gryphon! I love his design all around, including the split tail and the half beak, half fleshy mouth he has. The wings are similar to a magpie's, and I think the gray color palette is quite... hrm... distinguished! Either way this was a nice change from the canines I've been doodling lately. There aren't enough wings in my life! hehe.

I love the wings, though I may be bias because I am terrible at making wings... but the wings look good none-the-less.

Wings are really hard! I love them but they are NOT easy to draw. Things got a bit easier when I learned the general shapes of the feather areas (so like the pinions altogether make one shape, and the "arm" feathers all make one shape, etc) but I'm still learning. Thanks for the comment though! I'm sure if you keep drawing wings you'll get awesome at them eventually.
