029: Nidoran Female

This is kind of a weird one. Strange pose, darker contrasts then normal, some different brushes, lots of different things were tried out on this one. This particular picture took some extra time as well just because it went through a lot of little changes, especially with the positioning of the limbs. That said, I do like this one, even if its not 100% perfect. All that work seems to have paid off, at least I hope so.

I always liked the Nidoran lines, both male and female alike. Though in terms of learned moves the female line wasn't as good as the male, they both provided some pretty solid Pokemon in my opinion. This Nidoran looks a little unsure, or maybe longing for something... all while I was making this piece I felt like there was some sort of story that would crop up for it, but nothing ever came. Oh well, that's fine.
